It was race week in Jerez for the fourth round of the Spanish Formula 4 championship. After a long summer break of 12 weeks, we came back strong with 2 podiums.
We started our weekend with Free Practice 1 and 2. During the first session, Pedro set the second fastest time, and Valerio was the quickest during the second session. We had a tough Q1 session, Valerio set the sixth time, with Pedro 2 places behind in P8, Jeronimo in P11, Alvise in P17 and Keanu in P18. This was also the starting grid for Race 1.
Race 1 had an unfortunate start for Alvise, as he got spun out on the first lap and had to retire. Valerio managed to gain a place and ended in P5, Jeronimo gained 4 places and collected points by finishing seventh, Keanu finished in P9 and Pedro in P12.
Sunday came around and that meant we started with Qualifying 2 in the early morning, Valerio put it on the front row with a P2 and that set the grid for Race 3. It was P6 and P7 for Keanu and Pedro, P12 for Jeronimo and P34 for Alvise.
After Qualifying 2, followed the shorter and second race. For Race 2 we had a different grid with Valerio starting from P4, he managed to drive to P3 and grab the first podium of the weekend, Jeronimo finished in P9, Keanu in P13, Alvise in P15 and Pedro in P28.
Race 3 was filled with exciting battles. In the end, Valerio managed to get on the podium for the second time with a P2, Keanu managed to grab P5, with Pedro in P10, Jeronimo in P14 and Alvise in P23.

P2 Valerio – 141 points
P5 Pedro – 109 points
P8 Keanu – 79 points
P10 Jeronimo – 33 points
P16 Alvise – 3 points
The next race will be held in Estoril, Portugal next weekend.
