F2

FIA Formula 2 has been visiting Bahrain since the start of the current Formula 2 era in 2017. Since the start, MP has always been driving with F2 on the track. 

In 2020, Formula 2 visited the track twice due to Covid, when they had to reschedule the entire season. Back then the Outer Track was being used as the final round of the season. The Outer Track has a length of 3.543 km, with 48 Feature Race laps and 34 Sprint Race laps. 

MP has two highlights on the track, both from 2020 and on the different track layouts. Felipe Drugovich won the Feature Race on the original track layout, and during the Feature Race on the Outer Track, he finished third.

F3

As of 2022, the FIA Formula 3 championship drives in Sakhir, Bahrain. This is also where the championship held its first official test days, usually two weeks before the start of the season. Highlights of our F3 drivers are a third qualifying position for Kush Maini during his first-ever F3 qualifying session and a third position for Alexander Smolyar during the Sprint Race.
