The seventh race weekend of the Formula Regional Championship 2023 season happened on the Red Bull Ring. Sami managed to grab another podium this weekend.
Bruno, our Eurocup 3 driver, joined us this weekend.
There were 2 cars in the top 10 during Qualifying 1 with Sami in P6 and Victor in P16. Bruno got P24 in his first FRECA qualifying session. Later in the afternoon, we had Race 1. Sami picked up some good points and finished in P7, Victor ended in P15 and Bruno in P21
We had Qualifying 2 on Sunday, ending with a P4 for Sami, P17 for Victor and P21 for Bruno. With chaos and a safety car at the start, all MP drivers managed to avoid the chaos and made-up places. Sami managed to drive to P2 and fought for the lead till the last lap, Victor finished in P12 and Bruno in P21.
This podium was extra special for Sami as he has been running a tribute helmet for Dilano this weekend.
